TERMS (These terms and illustration will be useful to you when providing your engraving)
In the above example:
Logo – “Jan Mar Trophy Co.” Picture
Heading – Most Pronounced Line – “Our Customers” Heading 2 – Second Most Pronounced Line – “Special Appreciation/Recognition Award” Body – Main text of the plaque, reason for award – “For Your Outstanding…” Additional Lines – Least Prominent lines – “Presented To” and “2008” - Recipients name and/ or name of award are usually more pronounced (Larger, Bolder or All Caps)
- The Date / Year an award is being presented can be engraved at the bottom for commemorative purposes. This is a smaller font. Date / Year is always optional.
- The first letter of each word of engraving is usually capitalized, unless other instructions are received.
- Ornamentals are placed underneath the recipients name or used to enclose the body of a plaque. ( Represented here by asterisks)
- Logos are usually placed at the top of the plaque above the engraving. Unless otherwise instructed
- All engraving and logos are centered left / right & top / bottom
